Davis had a noticeable online existence in the activities community through the popular podcast "the Massive Bombcast" he organised weekly to talk about market information and review activities.
A former administrator at the activities information website GameSpot, Davis co-founded Massive Blast in 2008. Three years later, Time journal named it one of the top 50 websites of the year, explaining it as a sort of Wikipedia for gaming information, reviews and comments - "a mashup of a traditional game-info location."

"In the experience of this awfulness, many of us will at least always remember him as we last saw him: insanely, uproariously happy, looking forward to his next experience with the biggest smile his experience could hold," Matthew Rorie, product administrator at Massive Blast, said in a concept released on the website.
Minutes after the post was already released on Thursday, activities market experts, people, reporters and activities marketers like Ubisoft and Amazon Movie Games took to Tweets to show their sense of loss.
